Arrival Story:
My moms friend had just come back from a trip to the Cariboo, and said they had found a stray dog. They said they couldn't keep her, so we went to go and see the dog one afternoon, and she was so timid hiding under a cabinet. My mom's friend said Mission was most likely abused then abandoned, since she was soo timid and can only see with one eye. She was also extremly afraid of men. I couldn't say no to taking her home, she just seemed so lonely. Once we brought her home, it took her sometime to warm up to us. Now she's so gentle, affectionate, and is not afraid of strangers.
