Surgery

This morning Bernie had surgery. He had a lump on his lip that needed to be removed, he had the surgery and now is recovering. We can pick him up in 3 hours. The doctor did not think it was anything to be worried about and does not think it was cancerous. But we need to call the doctor in about an hour to get details about the surgery. Bernie did have cancer about 4 years back and is now a cancer survivor, so we are hoping this lump was nothing but a lump.

Guess we will see how the baby is feeling when he gets home this afternoon. Keep your fingers crossed for us!!

Bernie's late night power-outage

So, late last night, about 12:45, the power went out in our household. Well, Bernie likes to sleep with a fan on, or a filter on. So when the power went out, his noise turned off. Then the beeping started on the fire alarm every few mins. Well, Bernie did not like that. So, myself (Bernies "sister") and Mom sat in the living room with a freaked out 100lb dog. Yea, not so fun. For two hours we sat up trying to calm him down. He was up on the furniture, behind the furniture..everywhere. Knocked over a glass vase. It was no fun. Finally after two hours of Bernie freaking out, the power came back on. The beeping stopped and we all got to sleep.

Another late-night Bernie adventure...glad we got to sleep in this morning. Needless to say, Bernie is sleeping right now.
