February 2, 1999 - Monday, October 2, 2000 at 1:30pm. Snickers was originally adopted by my brother but he bonded so tight to me that my brother gave him to me. I was hoping to compete in obedience with him and had big dreams for the two of us when his life was cut short by eating a ball that led to infection and his death. He was always willing to please and was my little shadow dog. I had fun training him in obedience and I had hoped to try agility with him because he loved to jump. He was so smart, he even taught himself how to play dead when I would "shoot" him. I used to work in nursing homes and he would occasionally accompany me to work. He liked it and I think the best part was that many residents would give him lots of cookies! He taught me so much in the short time I had him, I will always remember his little smile and I thank him for sending Spirit to me for comfort - she reminds me alot of him.
