Arrival Story:
We had originally planned to get a solid black male tiny toy poodle, but about a week before we went to pick up the dog, the breeder contacted us to say that she had a more "rugged" poodle puppy that she was releasing. Toby was projected to be 7-8 pounds fullgrown instead of 4-5 pounds as the breeder had wanted for breeding stock. He has lived up to his rugged reputation! Loves long walks, generally likes children, wrestles with cats and occasionally wins, and has even been swimming once. Also? That 7-8 pounds turned into 12. He's a beefy boy.

Bio:
Toby's AKC name is Benedict's October Phantom because he has phantom colors and we brought him home to live with us in October 2000.
