At 5:30 am on the Fourth of July, 2004, Trifecta's Stellar Reflection (Tally) gave birth to her first son. An almost brindle HUGE fella. Oh man, I mean massive. Poor Tally struggled giving birth to the next 2 pups, then had to go to the ER to be induced. 2 more males arrived. Both White, Both HUGE. Again, she labored. Finally a C-section was ordered. 2 more brindle females. One was a real screamer, too!! Unfortunately the last little girl did not survive.
Quinn was never a problem. (well, health wise, that is!) Always scoped out the best "meals" growing larger every minute! First to open his eyes, first to eat, first to learn everything.
Who could let this guy go?
This is the one and only litter Mama Tally would ever have. She had such trouble with the delivery, torn uterus, etc, that we decided never to breed her again. She was, and is the best Mom ever!! She mothers everybody!!!
Her health is most important to us.
And we decided to concentrate on helping with Rescue. That is a full time comittment!
Quinn never stopped growing.....he is still growing! 77lbs of solid moose. We love him, he is awesome pawsome in every way!!!!
