It's Me....Ruffles

Ruffles 3rd Birthday

Today is my birthday. I am 3 years old and kind of laying around all day. My Mom usually makes me a great birthday dinner, but not today. I have to lose weight and I can't eat any meat or bones......so it's just my regular diet dog food from the Vet and maybe some pumpkin..... Other than that...I am getting so many hugs and kisses today that it's worth it to not have the treats.....

From Mom: I feel so bad for Ruffles. She was very sick with Pancreatitis a couple of months ago and now can't have anything but her special dog food. It's so hard to see those big brown eyes looking at me when we're eating and knowing she can't have any. She'll have a special toy today anyway......and like she said...lot's of hugs and kisses.... We love her so much and she knows it..

Hi! I'm Ruffles

I was welcomed to my family a year ago. I was only 8 weeks old and had to handle being the baby in the family..... It was great! Lot's of hugs and kisses from Mom & Dad....but it took a while for Boo to get used to not being the "Main Squeeze" here. She warmed up to me in about 5 minutes though....I have that effect on everyone. To know me is to love me......hehe.

I have been very happy here and we do all sorts of things together. My only problem was riding in the car...I get car sick. But....on the way back from AZ, I didn't take any meds and didn't get sick.....soooooooooo.....maybe I'm over it....we all hope so anyway.

I love my family and especially my sister. We have become the best of friends and we watch each others backs. Oh......Life is Soooooooo Good!
