Favorite Toy: Any stuffed animal (the bigger the better) especially a king sized stuffed tiger that his has had for 2 years, and tennis ball of course.
Favorite Food: Besides his regular doggie food, Jack loves the end crust from pizza, loves bananas, oranges, peanut butter and cheese.
Favorite Walk: Walking around the neighborhood and ending up at the lake or pond for a swim, walking around the Harbor shopping area where he can play in the fountains that spirt from the ground.
Best Tricks: Reading commands from flash cards, pulling drawer open on command, pushing flower pot on command, roll over, crawl, touching obects on command, speak, hi-five, shake hands, all basic obedience commands, kiss, say prayers, bow, twist around in air when ask
Arrival Story: After the loss of our two other Goldens just 3 weeks apart, we were so sad and lonely and missed the companionship of a furry pal around the house. Our vet told us about a breeder who was soon to have a litter of beautiful Goldens. We called Glengowan's Goldens who it just happen to be not far from us.
After talking with the breeder and visiting with the mom to be, we put a deposit on a puppy requesting a boy. Glengowan's Light My Fire (Jack) came into our lives on Aug. 14, 2006 and we brought him home on Oct. 10, 2006.
Bio: Jack is such a doll and has already captured our heart. We will never forget Murphy and Jake, but this guy has made us so happy and has filled a great void in our lives.
The song on Jack's page is "Jumping Jack Flash" by The Rolling Stones. Since Jack's registered name is Glengowan's Light My Fire, I thought this appropriate. It's peppy too, like Jack. Jack has made me smile again and keeps me very busy, to say the least. Jack is doing very well in the conformation show ring and is working on his championship title. After passing his Canine Good Citizen test, we are now working on his becoming a Certified Therapy Dog. We would like to visit retirement homes, schools, etc. Jack has been chosen to be in a movie that will come out Christmas 2010. He will be the understudy for the main dog, but we are excited that he will be in the movie. Maybe next time he will bet the lead role. Jack is practicing very hard on his tricks. The movie will be called Hero's Christmas.

The Last Forum I Posted In: Some Secret Codes!!
Woof woof...this is such exciting news! My script for the movie I am going to be in came today in the mail. Mommy could hardly wait to open it and start marking my lines. Mom says I have a lot of work to do to get ready for the movie filming and will have to learn a bunch more new tricks if I am to be in many scenes. The part of the dog in the movie will be played by me and another Golden. What one of us won't or can't do, the other one will step in and do the job. The movie is scheduled to begin filming at the end of January. I will keep you posted. Oh boy!! This is going to be fun.

This picture was taken on my first day home with my family when I was only 8 weeks old. Mommy thinks it is an adorable picture, but you know how mommy's can be about their baby boys.
