Arrival Story:
On a trip to the Home Depot, the Pet Supermarket next door had a rescue group with all their critters needing homes. I had already been "approved" by the boyfriend to get a "small non sissy bow wearing" dog. He went to Home Depot, I went to the petstore, this is tradition. The rest is History.....

She came with her name already, they called her Hannibal because she was just a puppy with those sharp teeth, we tweeked it a little to Hannah Pirannah! From what they knew of her, we think she was a Christmas present gone wrong and ended up at the rescue. She just rested in our arms as we walked around with her, discussing if she was "the one" once in the truck, she cuddled up next to her daddy as snowflakes started to fall outside. We are positive she is a reincarnation of both our child hood dogs mixed together. She is our babeeee.

My dumb brother...

It is already 2008 and I have just been so busy, busy, busy. I have been on a few car trips here and there, and to visit my Granny & Papaw. The weather has just been too cold to do much but lay leisurely around the couch and bed... And I promise that I have not torn up anything without permission.

I really like the empty toilet paper rolls. I can hear those being changed a mile away and race to get there before Cody does to get one and tear it up.

Our house is now officially a ZOO. Mommy brought home a new baby birdie in September, who can be loud sometimes, but she spills her fruity pellets on the floor for me to eat. Yummmy! And she does like to sing a song that includes my name sometimes. So she is not that bad.

But then Daddy lost his mind and brought home a tiny baby kitty..With Fleas. At first I was very upset, all the attention went to the bird, now this fuzz ball? But Mommy explained to me how the baby kitty was found in the ally behind Daddys work downtown, and he just could not see the little kitty starve to death, so he brought her home, besides, she matches our color scheme of black and white.
She is a little nut, and I think since she was so little when she came to live with us, she now thinks she is a Dog..Imagine that. She even likes to go outside with us and play in the rain. Silly kitty.

She has some really yummy flavored toy mice that I like to chew on when she is not looking. And that sand box she plays in has the best buffet! For some reason I always get blocked away from the sand box. I dont understand it all, but I know kitty is very lovey to me.

My dumb brother, he just does not know when to stop. He needs a pill or something. No matter how much mommy takes us out to run around and play, he still misbehaves sometimes.
Mommy thought it would be a treat for me to take a refresher course of manners with Cody, since he does not like going anywhere with out me. I think he has flash backs of the long ride to the shelter when he was wee big.
I leaned on him tonight hoping he would understand he hurt mommy. But durh, he is such a dofus.
One of these days, I think I might just sit on him until he cries uncle...Maybe that will make him get ride of his lil man syndrome he has so bad.
