Favorite Food: Flint River Ranch and anything we're eating Favorite Walk: Through the woods behind our house (so many smells and critters!) Best Tricks: Smooch on demand, frisbee-catching, singing with the firetruck sirens - woo, wooo, wooooo! Arrival Story: We wanted a companion for our female dog, Hannah. Of course, we wanted to rescue a dog from the pound, so I was keeping an eye on their Web site. When I saw Theo listed, I knew he was the one. His face was so sweet and he looked a lot like a dog I'd had as a kid. We took Hannah with us to the SPCA to meet him and took him home that day. Bio: Theo was heartworm positive when we adopted him. We discovered this when we took him to his first vet appt. three days after bringing him home. So, his first two months with us were spent recuperating and getting healthy. He also has some separation anxiety....he just can't stand to be separated from his humans. We're working on this and he's improved a lot. He is such a sweetheart and we think he has one of the best smiles we've seen. Theo just loves life and is so happy to be alive. The only time his tail is not wagging is when he's sleeping. He is very loving and gentle and simply can't get enough of our love and attention. We adore him and can't imagine how anyone could've dumped him at a high-kill shelter.
