Best Tricks:
Climbing trees, opening doors, picking pockets and jumping absolutely anything. When I fostered Max (now Squish) the GSP, Spike added 'enforcer' to his CV - if I said ' Max, no!' Spike would bark and bite his nose!

Arrival Story:
Like many Border Collies, Spike was bought as a puppy by well-meaning people with no idea how time-intensive they are. I found him at a rescue centre at ten months old, going mad from kennel stress and inactivity. He is still a high-octane, high-maintenance dog, but he is extremely civilised pleasant company these days (as long as I don't skimp his exercise and training.) Spike recently qualified as a PAT dog (volunteer hospital visiting)

Bio:
I named Spike after the character played by James Marsters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel, because of the striking similarities between the two. Wild man, champion, mother's boy, our cat's obsessive protector and occasional stalker, and my personal Big Damn Hero.
