Mommy's a little mad at me *grin* !!!

Well, gosh, I have to earn a reputation of being a 4 month old puppy getting in to everything. You see, well, I ah, ah...I kinda chewed a little on my mommy's electrical cord to her speakers on her computer & it don't play like it's suppose to. She always keeps an eye on me and doesn't let me get away with anything, but this time I fooled her, but good. My sharp little teeth just took one little bite. She couldn't figure out why the speakers wouldn't turn on and then she looked at the cord and saw what I did. Of course, I heard her say it was her fault but I could tell she wasn't a happy camper. She took some duct tape and somehow got it to work but she's gotta buy another cord to be safe. HAH!! That'll teach her to pay more attention to the computer than me!! HA HA HA Well, it's time for mommy & me to watch a little tv and then we play tug o' war and we play with all my toys before she gets in that old shower...I don't like it when she gets behind that shower curtain and I can't see her. Boy, do I let her know it. I bark & yell until she sticks her head out. She keeps saying calm down, I'll be out in just a minute, but I don't still don't like it. Now, it's time for fun!!!! My mommy's been sick!!

Sorry I haven't written & you haven't heard from me. My mommy has had pneumonia. One thing good is I've learned to use potty pads...now I can go potty inside & outside. Mommy is sooooo proud of me!!!! We'll both write more soon when she feels better. It's been fun having mom at home from work with just me all night & day. * woof woof *

Potty Training is For the Birds!!

I just don't know if I like this potty training stuff. I've learned that "outside" means going out the front door so I go to the door alot 'cause I want to go out and chase the butterflies and leaves & stuff. My mommy takes me for a long walk every morning and afternoon and evening, but I want to go outside when I get the notion too. Mommy thinks when I go to the door, that I ought to just go potty...well, I just may put my paw down and decide that's not gonna happen. Today, mommy took me out several times in a row and I just played and played and when she brought me back inside, as soon as she turned her back, I pooped on her rug....I showed her...Boy, mommy was not a happy camper. She was cleaning it up and spraying all kinds of stuff on the rug and scrubbing. I tried to help her by grabbing the towels, but she didn't seem to want my help. I guess I better not do that again. Since that happened, she's kept my leash on me all day long. She said she wasn't gonna let me out of her sight. Today's her off day from work and she's been with me constantly. I love being with my mommy, but I don't like it when she goes back to work. She thinks I'm going to get used to being penned up in the kitchen with that old doggy gate, but I just don't know about that! Well, gotta take a nap. We're gonna be going on a great walk again soon and I have to have my energy up to chase all the leaves, butterflies and birds. Woof ya later, Oliver aka "Mommy's Baby Boy"

I Think I'll Stay!! *TAIL WAGGING*

Well, mommy found one of those darn dog gates that I can't climb over...you know the kind that look like a jail cell with white iron vertical bars . It does have a door that opens and closes. Mommy keeps it open except when she has to leave me in jail. At least I can see out of the kitchen, but I still don't like it when mommy shuts the gate and leaves me to go to work.

My mommy says I'm doing pretty good going to the door now when I want to go out. Of course, when I get outside I first have to chase the leaves that blow and then I have to check out all the sounds in the neighborhood before I'm ready to do my business. My mommy stays with me but I can tell she would rather I can down to business. She takes me for walks in the morning & when she comes home from work at noon & after work and in the evening. Right now, the weather is very nice so we go for some really good walks. One thing I do not like is when she leaves me to go to work in the morning & after her lunch break. I just don't understand why I can't go to work with her. Another thing I don't understand is when mommy turns on that faucet and gets behind that curtain and takes a shower. I just don't understand why I can't see her...I can hear her telling me she'll be right out, but I just don't like it and I let her know it by barking and whining. Mommy says it makes her know she's really loved by me *smile*!! ! I went to my new vet here in Panama City today. Dr. Vicky was really nice...she held me & gaves me lots of love and said I sure was a good little boy!! She weighed me and said I weighed 5 lbs...wow, I'm getting to be a real porker. I really liked Dr. Vicky. Of course, she and mommy discussed when I was suppose to get neutered...I don't think I like the sound of that. Dr. Vicky put some kind of drops up my nose...I really wasn't in to that but I didn't yell. I was a big boy. Mommy calls me her "baby boy" all the time and I get to sleep all night with her. She has a new queen size bed that's really soft. I first start sleeping right next to her, but I have a pillow and a quilt on the bed & sometimes when I get too warm, I sleep on them. I actually make mommy sleep on the edge of the bed so I can have the rest of the whole queen size bed just for me. Mommy even puts some toys up there for me. Did I say I had her wrapped around my paw or what? *smile* Well, it's getting to be bedtime and mommy always holds me and gives me tummy rubs. She suppose to take my lots of pictures of me this weekend so I'll put some more online soon. Woof to you all!! Oliver

"Olivier's sleeping on his back in my lap even as I type- this" SPOILED!!!!!

Sorry I haven't written in a while but Oliver & I have been having sooooooo much fun. He sleeps with me every night, all night long. Sometimes he'll get right up at the top of my pillow and lie down right on my head. He's 3 months old and weighs about 4 lbs. His hair is sooooo soft. He feels just like one of those really expensive fluffy stuffed toys. I love it, and he has so much personality. He's so, so funny. I can't imagine my life without him.
On the way driving home last week, he rode for over 8 hours on my chest or on my shoulder. We stopped often and strolled around in the wonderful weather. I was so proud of how he traveled. I especially can't believe how well he sleeps at night...and I'm so grateful. He slept with me at my daughter's house the first two nights and did well, but I knew I had to start the potty training bigtime when I got home and started back to work. He has slept all night long from 10 PM to 6:15 AM every night without a potty break. I don't hear a peep out of him unless I get up (of course, he wants to be with mommy..haha) The only thing we're going through now is trying to keep him from jumping up and climbing over everything I've put him in during the daytime...the current gate and exercise pen did not work. I had even bought the taller model, 30" high..didn't keep him in...got out the first day...that's why sometimes I call him Houdini...he can get out of most anything...can jump and climb like crazy... I now have to find another gate for my kitchen doorway or buy the top to his Midwest exercise pen. Of course, his brother Toby, the bichon was just like that...I used to tell him I was gonna put him in the circus as a flying trapeze artist; but Toby was 22 lbs...I thought this little delicate 4 lb puppy couldn't be like that...WRONG!!!!!!!!!! HA HA. We're gonna go to Walmart or PetSmart tonight and get an official extra tall dog gate to keep this little dickens in during the day. Well gotta run...talk to ya later...Kathy & Oliver

MOM'S PACKING TO GO TO ALABAMA!!! YIPPEE!!!!!

Can you believe it...only two days left!! My mom started her vacation today & she won't have to go back to work until a week from tomorrow, all because of little "fluffy faced" me.....I AM SOOOOOOOO IMPORTANT!!! ha ha ha
She's got to pack all my goodies & my bed to take to my new sister's house. She's even bringing my new fold out doggie play pen. She said either she'll have to put me in it or put Olivia (her granddaughter/16 months old) in it...hahahaha...It's gonna be somethin' else...a 16 month old, a 4 year old shitzu that's used to being the center of attention and then, me. Oh well, mommy said, she would hold me or my sisters would be holding me. That's okay, I can run like the wind!!! Oh, I have to tell you, mommy ordered me a leather Harley Davidson biker hat...it's really cool. I've also got to get a jacket...she said she was gonna have to wait to check my size. I just don't know about this clothes stuff...I'm not sure it's manly enough. I'll let her know what I think. I may not be able to update you for the next few days 'cause we'll be traveling and there's so much going on with all the visits, etc; but I'll be sure to tell you everything about my homecoming and meeting my new family as soon as I can. T-H-R-E-E D-A-Y-S TO GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

WOWEE, WOWEE.....I can't believe it's only 3 days 'ill my mommy comes to get me. I get to meet my sisters and nieces, both human and doggy. Yippee, yippee, yippee. Hey, wanna here something funny. Mommy received a big box delivery yesterday just for me...it was a "so-called" doggy playpen...HA HA HA...She thinks she's gonna keep me "confined" while she teaches me all kinds of stuff...well, little does she know that even though I'm half maltese and half toy poodle...I know how to jump, jump, jump just like a rabbit and I can climb, climb & climb just like a cat...hahahahaha...this is gonna be so much fun. She's "ain't" got nuttin' on me...I'll keep all you guys up to date on all my shenanigans...hahaha..won't she be surpised. Four, Four, Four, only Four more days to go!!

Yep, can you believe it...my mommy's coming to get me on Friday of this week. I hear she went to Target tonight and bought me some more toys...YIPPEE!!! She also ordered me some kind of playpen that hooks up to my crate...now, this I gotta see. I'm not used to any kind of old crate so I'm gonna do my best to whimper & cry and look at her with my big puppy dog eyes so she'll let me sleep with her. Getting back to the toys, it's gonna be just like Santa Claus has come early!!! There's one thing I'm not gonna like this week and that's because my breeder mommy has to take me to that old man in the white coat and he's gonna stick me in the butt with a needle. They can talk about it all they want to about how it's for my own good, but there's no way they're gonna make me believe it!!! Five Days & Countin' Till I Move To The Beach!!

Hi All....It's Sunday afternoon & my new mommy's a little sad today. Tennessee beat Alabama on tv yesterday afternoon. She said knowing she was picking me up next Friday made her feel sooooooo much better. Well, she did say seeing her granddaughter, Olivia, was gonna be great too, but I know I'm more important!! Well, at least I like to think so!! *smile* My breeder mom sent some email to my mommy and said I was getting into everything. I can't help it if I'm interested in everything around me and want to taste it and tear it into tiny bits!!!! Isn't that what a pups 'pose to do???? hehehehe My mom said happy tears came to her eyes when she read all about me 'cause she wants to hold me so much!! It will be sad to leave my doggy mommy & sister here at the breeder's house, but I am looking forward to having ALL the attention!!! OH YEAHHHHHHHHH!!! Six Days to Go Till I'm Home!!

My mommy just heard from my breeder mommy. She told her that I was very adventurous and got into everything. She also told her that I still looked the same as my two month old photo even though I'm a big almost 11 weeks old. I'm having fun playing with all my puppy pals here but I am excited about meeting my new family...that way I'll get ALL the attention and it won't be shared with any other puppies YIPPEE...bring on the attention.
Oh yeahhhhhhhhhh...I just found out my new mommy is writing about me while the Alabama Tennessee game is on tv...hahahaha. Well, she IS listening to it, but at least she's writing about me instead of watching it...now, that shows, just how important I am to her!!! HAH, this is gonna be such a sweet ride...I've got her wrapped around all my paws...WOOF WOOF!! I'm gonna learn all the Crimson Tide cheers and we're gonna watch all the rest of the games together. Well...time to eat a little and take a nap with my pals. We're all going to be going to our new homes soon. I'll bark to ya tomorrow...Woof ya, BAMA
