Arrival Story:
I was looking for an Australian Shepherd, hence the unoriginal name of "Sydney". I went in to a petstore and Sydney was there with her 2 sisters. They all looked alike and when I asked to see one, she was the one who jumped out! I fell in love with her, it has been a match made in heaven. Of course I know better than to get a pet store pup now, but this was 12 years ago! Also, it was not your usual puppy mill store. It was an "oops" litter where the store owner knew the owner of the momma dog.

Bio:
I couldn't ask for a better, sweeter dog than Sydney. She is so smart. She was 9 1/2 weeks old when I brought her home, she was crate trained in 3 days and housebroken in less than a week! She is friendly and loves everyone, including the cats. She has a "pet" cat named Jade, and they snuggle together daily. Jade even grooms Sydney. On June 12, 2008 Sydney lost her battle with cancer. I helped her peacefully cross the Bridge, holding her the whole time. She was my once in a lifetime dog and I will miss her terribly. Rest in Peace, Sydney. I miss you. Oct 6, 1994 - June 12, 2008
