   Leave a bone for Archie

Archie Bunker, The Man

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:
-pound dog

running, off leash hikes with his buddies and agility

A bath and having to eat anything known as vegetable matter.

Favorite Toy:
Archie has never learned how to play with toys but he loves a good game of chase.

Favorite Food:
Beef kidney

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere where he can run off leash.

Best Tricks:
looking cute.

Arrival Story:
Archie had been turned out at the app age of 4 months to fend for himself. He landed in the SPCA at the age of 10 mts where we looked into each others eyes and knew it was love. I took him home never to return except for visits to see the staff. His original rescuer still gets very warm greetings from him. I think he still remembers how she saved his life after being struck by a car.

We first tried flyball but Archie lack of interest in balls called a halt to that. Agility was his cup of tea and his eyes light up when he sees the couse. Last year he was certified as a Therapy Dog through St. John's Ambulance and now does hospital visits one a week. Archie is the leader of the household pack.

I turned 10 this year but it doesn't show. I can still run like the wind.
I was asked to be in an agility demo dec 6/o8. I haven't done agility in 5 years so mom thought I should have a trial run. I blew the first run big time but then CLICK it all came back. The next run I did it perfectly. I had such fun running agility again. So now I'm going in this big demo this weekend. Oh it will be so much fun!!!!
