In the late summer of 1992 we were shopping at the mall for work shoes. As we always did we decided to go visit the puppies in the pet shop. A litter of 5 mutts beagle/sheltie mix had just arrived. They were surpose to be pure bread beagles, but as love goes the sheltie jump the fence, so they turned into the most beautiful, loveable puppies we had even seen. When we laid eyes on Cookie it was love at first sight. So when the clerk said she was only 60 bucks.... SOLD! (Never did buy the shoes)
Bio:
Cookie has the sheltie's herding instinct, running around in circles when were outdoors. She also has some of the beagle's hunting instinct, her nose to the ground, hunting molls, mice, and snakes. She is a timid girl, so she doesn't venture off very far when she's outdoors. When excited she has this little dance she does with her front paws. If her nails are too long she will chew them off and spit them out. After every meal she cleans her face by rubbing her face into the carpet. She enjoys hearing a member of the family play the guitar. She also loves licking Daddie's toes EEW! she will even pull his socks off for him. Sadly Cookie developed a tumor on her hip, she passed Oct 5th 2004, We miss you Coo Coo
