My new baby brother, Yoda, came to stay at my house last Tuesday, October 24th, and it's been so great since he got here! He's just a baby, only 7 months old, so I've been teaching him lots of stuff, like how to grab his leash and run away with it before we go on a walk, how to smell the good stuff while we're walking and eat it if he gets a chance, how to wait in the kitchen when humans are in there because they might drop something tasty, and other important stuff a big dog's gotta know.

It's been almost 5 months since my big brother Buster went away. I was really lonely without him because I'd never been the only dog in the house. (There's a picture of me and Buster on my Dogster page. We went on a family trip to Calistoga just 2 months before he went away and had lots of fun. I miss Buster so much. He was the best big brother EVER!) But now that Yoda's here, I'm not so lonely. Yoda is Buster's great nephew, so he reminds me a lot of Buster--he's always happy, wags his tail a lot, and loves to have his belly scratched, just like Buster!

Yoda and I chase each other around the house and the backyard a lot, and I can escape from him by standing under the table. We also wrestle and jump on each other all the time, but sometimes Yoda cheats because he leans on the ottoman to act like he's bigger, but of course I'm bigger so I win. Sometimes, though, Yoda keeps bugging me to play when I don't want to play, because I'm not a baby anymore, so I don't want to play all day. So then I have to bark at him to tell him to stop bugging me because I'm not a baby anymore and don't always want to play with him. But usually I do.

Anyway, I'm really happy my new baby brother Yoda has come to live with us forever, and so are my humans. And oh yeah, Yoda and I dressed up for Halloween. I was Darth Emmy and was really, really scary, and Yoda was . . . duh, Yoda!

Okay, I gotta go chase my new baby brother now.

Today I had to get up early and go to my groomer's--KayCee's. It's the first time I've gone since I got out of the hospital. Personally, I thought I looked okay and smelled terrific, but my humans thought otherwise.

Going to KayCee's kind of stresses me out. Oh, KayCee's nice and all, but it's all those other strange dogs there. I've constantly got to keep an eye on them; you never know what they might do. Thank goodness my human came and got me as soon as I was finished. I prefer the Old School Sealyham cut. That newer Sealy style with the big fringe just bugs my eyes. I got a sweet little Halloween kerchief that matches my Halloween leash, and I think I looked pretty swell when I left KayCee's, if I do say so myself.

The best thing today was going to the burrito shop with my human. It was great! The only thing that would have made it better was if I'd actually gotten a burrito to eat. Oh man. That'd be so sweet. Burritos smell terrific and might even taste better than Snausages. Maybe someday I'll get one. Anyway, when we got home from the burrito shop, my other human was home, too. And that's the best thing of all: when both of my humans are with me.

Yawn! After my early morning trip to KayCee's, I think I'll hit the hay early tonight and dream of burritos . . . . zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm 4 & I'm on Dogster!

Hey! This is great! Yesterday I celebrated my 4th birthday, and now that I'm all grown up, my humans decided I could have my own site on Dogster. This is so sweet--almost as great as Snausages.

My birthday yesterday was terrific! We went shopping for presents for me, and I got a new floppy disk and a squeeky sock monkey. But my humans made me wear my icky muzzle when we went out, because they're afraid I'll do something stupid like eat junk off the street and get sick again. Sheesh! I tried to tell them I'm 4 now and all grown up and wouldn't do anything dumb like eat bad stuff off the street . . . unless it smelled really, really good.

Speaking of smelling really, really good, one of my humans is making us stroganoff for dinner, and I just heard the timer ring, so I gotta run.
