My Trip to Rainbow Bridge

Well I made my final trip to Rainbow Bridge on 4/18/07 and what a great place it is here.

Some of you who might not know my story I was diagnosed with Liver Cancer in October of 2006 and given 3-6 weeks to live, well I made it until April and enjoyed every moment with my family. My daddie and Aunt Joann took me to the vets on Wednesday to help me pass to the bridge.

I was so amazed when I got to the bridge as my friend AUTUMN was here waiting for me with my wings. I am so happy to have such a wonderful friend. She tells me she has so much to show me and so much exploring to do.

I also want to thank my friends COSMO QUINCY and BUTCH and family for the beautiful plant they sent my mommie.

Please take care of my brothers Max and Elmo as I will be their guardian angel from above.

I also want to send a special thank you to my following friends for the beautiful Rosettes and Stars they sent me: Rocky Ann (kitty friend), Butch and family, Autumn and family, Snooper and family, Diogi, Ele and family (kitty friends), Muffin, Winnifred Wigglepants, Cocoa and Co. (kitty friends), Dallas, Sugar and Roxy!!!

Not feeling well!

Hi pals sorry its been such a long time since I have written in my diary but I have just been trying to spend time with my family while I have it. As you may remember I was diagnosed with Liver Cancer in October of last year and was only given 3-6 weeks.

Well as you can tell I am still here and hangin on.

Things have not been going so well lately and I am becoming very weak, I just wanted to say thank you to all of my friends for being so kind and sending me all your nice thoughts and rosettes. It has meant alot to me during all of this.

I am going to the vet on Friday night to find out what has been going on and if there is anything else that can be done for me, but I am just getting tired and think my time will come soon to go to Rainbow Bridge. But don't be sad for me as I have lived my life to the fullest and my family has been wonderful!!!

Can you believe it I made it another New Year!!! Whoop Whoop and those vets think they know everything!!!!

My Birthday

Its my birthday today and I am excited i've made it through another one. We are celebrating quietly as I haven't been feeling too well.

I have been quite amazed at myself **thank you thank you*** that back on October 8th my vet only gave me 3-6 weeks but I have managed to be here to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and my Birthday and hopefully New Years.

I have alot to be thankful for on this birthday!!

I am still around

Sorry I haven't updated my diary lately, I am still doing good and those vets don't know anything BOL.....They gave me only 3 weeks and I am still here going strong. Its strange I haven't had any bad days in at least 2 weeks which is a GREAT thing.

My cousin AUSTIN joined Dogster today so if you get a chance visit his site and send him a pmail....

Wow

Sorry I haven't updated in a couple of days, its been kind of weird around here. Last week I was so so sick that I knew what mommie and daddie were thinking and to tell you the truth I was thinking the same thing.

Then something happened, I don't know what and I don't know how BUT I have been way more than normal since last Friday....I'm even walking again...Is this strange I don't know...I heard mommie talking to daddie that when they take Max and Ripley to the Vet on Saturday they are going to ask her why such the turn around. Who knows maybe its all the wonderful prayers my friends have been saying for me.

Whatever it is I am glad I am able to enjoy what I have left.

Wow what a day!

Well today started out in a bad way until my mommie got on the puter and noticed all my Rosettes and Stars I received, can you believe ME receiving all these wonderful gifts.

I want to thank each of the following for my wonderful Rosettes: Thank you YUKIKO for the mint flavored Rosette, also thanks to MURRAY who is one of our Catster friends, Thank you BUDDIE who is a dear furrend of my brother Ripley and we can't forget COSMO who you can't tell anyone but my mommie has a crush on his brother Milo.

I also want to thank my following friends for the beautiful shining stars that will shine brite even when I have gone to the bridge: Thanks SNOOPER for choosing me to be your friend and make sure you keep Boogers, Hondo and Fido in line BOL, and a special thanks to the dearest ROCKY ANN who has helped my mommie out in so many ways. And of course we can't forget GEELY a double THANK YOU for the Rosette and Star - please take care of my of Ele' as she is my OREO's dearest sweetheart.

You guys will never understand how this has made me feel!

Long weekend

Just an explanation on myself. My name is Mariah and I am 11 years old my mommie and daddie have had me since I was a puppy, mommie has had our kitties on the Catster website but didn't know how do link us but now she has.

I have a brother Max who is a lab mix and mommie will be putting him on the site tonight, hopefully.

I was diagnosed with Terminal Liver Cancer on Saturday which was a shock to all of us, I mean I am old and all MOL we just weren't expecting the news we got. So mommie and daddie brought me home as the vet told us right now I am comfortable and still eating etc.

I did have quite a long weekend trying to get use to the "comforting meds" our vet gave us and I promised mommie and daddie I would tell them when its time to go to Rainbow Bridge. I can't make any promises it could be today, tomarrow or a week from now. But I will tell you I am enjoying the extra specials I am getting.

For example, we had a campout on Saturday night which meant that we all slept in the living room and when I mean all I mean cats and all. Sunday mommie and daddie spent the whole day home with me enjoying the nice weather and sitting in the backyard reminising.

Today, the extra special Grandpa is coming by 2x's a day to "check up on me" as I told mommie and daddie they still need to go to work.

Oh well - thats enough for now..need some sleep....
