   Leave a bone for Coco

Nicknames:
Coco-puff, Coco-bean, Coco-mutt, Coco-loco, Cokester.

Quick Bio:
-mutt-pound dog

Likes:
People, flattery, attention, going for walks and food.

Pet-Peeves:
Slow walkers, not getting enough attention, dogs who bark from behind fences or windows, thunder, baths (which is more like her bane) and bodies of water (she must have had a bad experience in the past).

Favorite Toy:
People, tennis balls and a kong (especially when stuffed with a milkbone).

Favorite Food:
Anything!

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere, but especially where there are lots of people and lots of action.

Best Tricks:
Getting out of her harness (she is Houdini!) and stealing a dribbled tennis ball (possible NBA dog).

Arrival Story:
Coco is originally a Quebecois dog but she had been given up because she was too active for the elderly lady who previously owned her. I adopted her from the SPCA in Ottawa, Ontario on the first day she was eligible for adoption - April 22, 2003. That date has since become her effective birthday. Although we started out together in our nation's capital, I have since repatriated myself and introduced Coco to the Canadian Prairie.

Bio:
Although her looks may belie it, Coco is a strong and muscly dog and she is a power chewer. She goes through rawhide bones like they are candy. I suspect by her build and snout characteristics that her secondary breed is some type of pitbull but the matter is uncertain. In any case, Coco is a gentle dog who rarely barks and loves everyone. She exhibits none of the stereotyped tendencies of the pitbull breed.
