Arrival Story:
I was searching forever for the right dog to become my service dog and best friend. I contacted a breeder in California who breeds puppies for a service dog organization, they had an upcoming litter so I purchased him. The family was even kind enough to bring him here to me in oregon. I was sooooooooo grreatful. He's such a wonderful dog. I am very happy and lucky to have him.

Hi all

I'm trying to raise money for Paws to Freedom and my continued training of my service dog in training Maverick. So far Maverick has learned to help me in numerous ways like retrieving items, closing doors and much more but still needs training. Paws to Freedom is selling Izzys coupon books for $5 each and comes with a variety of coupons for you and your family to enjoy. I will also be selling See's candy bars. If you or someone you know might be interested in donating please let me know. Cash donations are also accepted at the Paws to Freedom Website. Any donation is greatly appreciated!

Visit www.pawstofreedom.com for more information.

Thank you!

Mom and dad made these movies of me in action! They show off how smart I am and of course lots of cute moments. They are on my website mom made

I'm doing very well. I'm learning people and dogs are no big deal, they really are everywhere.

I also am learning that I need to pick up things for mom, she really shouldn't be so clumsy. The other day she dropped her phone and I got it, that was my first real life task aside from training. She seemed very happy! I'm a retriever thats what I'm meant to do!

We went to the petstore today for some doggy socializing today. MMom says I did super! I got a treat every time I looked at moms eyes and she was super generous when a dog walked by and I stayed looking at her! I got two treats and she kept saying good boy! You see, I got neutered and mom thinks since then I learned to bark and she says thats not good. I can't go into places barking so I need to learn to be a quiet boy dog. I'm getting better though! I was even quiet when a dog came super close and was trying to play. His mom culd not control him but I settled very fast! I sat politely for petting too. Whats our adventure tomorrow???!
