I desperately wanted a dog, and after some convincing, Kev agreed to get one as long as it wasn't a froo-froo dog. He decided we should get a min pin since our last dog was a dobie and we wanted a small dog. We found Shorty at Lil' Dog Rescue in MI, on petfinder. com and brought him home on Halloween, 2002.
