Pet-Peeves: Going outside in the rain and when Jezzy gets attention
Favorite Toy: He loves stuffed squeaky toys, but destroys them quicker than I thought a little dog could. As a result, most of his toys are de-squeaked, de-stuffed pieces of fabric.
Favorite Food: string cheese, raw carrots, and his dog food (or jezzys)
Favorite Walk: around the block and of course in pet stores
Best Tricks: Waiting very patiently for Jezzy to turn her head while playing with a toy or chewing a bone and stealing it from under her nose
Bio: Toby is such a wonderful pup. He definitely has a boy personality and I was surprised to see how different he was from Jezzy. I was also worried that Jezzy would be jealous when we got him, but Toby is the jealous one of the two. When anyone pets Jezzy he immediately jumps in between them or plops himself right on top of her. He has so much energy, is very playful, and LOVES to give kisses. He is easily frightened and wary when new people come over, but he quickly warms up to them and doesn’t leave their side for their entire visit. Thank you Toby for being you!

1. I only have 1 dew claw; it’s on my left paw. Not sure what happened to the one on my right.
2. When I sleep my tongue always hangs out and mommy and daddy thinks it’s funny to poke it.
3. Everyone that knows my pawrents thinks I’m named after Toby Keith because they like country music, but mom says I’m really named after a character from dawsons creek. I think Ill let them continue thinking its toby keith.
4. I love to sleep curled up next to my sister Jezzy.
5. Once I crawled under the seat in daddy’s truck while we were driving and got stuck. We pulled over and mom started freaking out and almost called the fire company but dad was able to get me out unharmed.
6. I refuse to sit or lay on any hard or cold floors. At puppy classes my trainer gave me a small piece of carpet to use so I could learn my commands.
7. I actually kinda like going to visit the vet. I get lots of treats and attention. I love going with Jezzy when she sees her specialist because then I the attention with NO pokes or prodding.
Hello everypup!
Wow it’s been so long since my last diary entry. It’s not my fault though; its mommy’s for always hogging the computer to do work for her classes. She says that she will be all finished with classes by the end of the summer and I’ll just have to be patient till then. Patience is not one of my best skills.
Everything has been going good here. Jezzy is feeling much better than she was a month ago and everyone is feeling really good about it. I still don’t think Jezzy is completely ok with having me around. I love to sleep right next to her, but sometimes she just gets up and leaves. How rude is that?!?! Mom always yells at me because she says I steal all of Jezzy’s toys while she’s playing with them. She even has the nerve to call me the “fun police”! What’s that supposed to mean? I love to have fun, I just don’t like others having fun without me. Bol! One of my favorite things to do is run around the apartment in circles as fast as I can. I start in the living room and run around the table and then go through the kitchen and into the bedroom and backtrack. I do this for a long time and it makes mom and dad laugh. They say that I would be good at weiner races but we don’t know of any place around here that holds them.
I have made so many great friends on dogster and I am thankful for all of you. You are all so great! My friend Jezzie is a prosecutor for a big trial that’s going on right now. She is such a smart pup! I could never have the patience and discipline to do something like that.
Now for the big news! A very cute pup asked me to be her Valentine!!! I was very pleasantly surprised and said “of course”! Her name is Daisy and she is such a cutie and likes to steal from her brother Logan like I do with Jezzy. I am looking forward to sharing Valentines days with her. I am so lucky to have such a cutie as my very first Valentine.
What are these little bumps on my ear and chest?
Well, that was the question of the week. Mommy found these 4 little bumps (2 on my ear and 2 on my chest) that appeared pretty much overnight. She worries a lot so she called the doctors to get me an appointment the next day. If you would ask my sister Jezzy, she would say that the vet is the worst place in the world. But me? I like it there. You get to meet lots of new pups in there, get lots of attention from people, and treats from the doctor. What’s not to like?
So back to the bumps. Mommy’s always worrying about us, (have I said that yet?) and wanted to make sure they couldn’t be tumors of some sort. Good news, they aren’t tumors, or hives, and they don’t seem to be allergies (like Jezzy has). The vet thinks that they might be just some skin irritation and all I have to do is let mommy and daddy put some cream on them 3 times a day and keep an eye on them.
Ok, now that’s out of the way. There is something really weird flying around my house. YES! I said FLYING! Mommy says it’s called a hello-pop-ter, or something like that, but it’s really scary. It doesn’t make much noise, but it blows air around and has green eyes that glow! Just so you know I'm not making this up, I added a picture on my page so you can see it for yourself.
