I'm not so happy today, because my mom isn't giving me as much to eat. For some reason she thinks I need to shed a few pounds off of my beautiful, Rubenesque figure. Maybe if I slim down I won't get so pooped out when that annoying Tuppy tackles me. He's a pain in the neck, but at least he keeps me warm at night and I can sneak around and snarf his food sometimes.

How could they have left us behind!! I'm so unbelievably upset that all I get to do for the next week is race around with other dogs and that I won't have all those yummy Christmas treats to eat. I may even see a waistline when Mom and Dad return--boo-hoo. Plus I've got that annoying little brother Tuppy dragging me around by my ear all day--grrrr. Well, you'd better believe, I'm going to get extra muddy and sulk when they return. I must say, though, that I'm thankful to have a new little brother even though I miss my sweet sister, Bambee. Maybe next year, I'll be back in Ohio, visiting my cousins and trotting through the lovely town of Chagrin Falls. Happy New Year to all!
