Arrival Story:
My mother, aunt and I were sitting at a Krystal restaurant and my mother said right out of the clear blue sky "Let's go to the Puppy Corral". We had always gotten our puppies directly from breeders. We went and this little adorable poodle puppy started trying to get my attention. It was love at first sight. There was only one problem - we didn't have the money. Well this was a Wednesday afternoon and my brain went into high gear. I started thinking of what I had that I could sell. I spent the entire next morning hitting pawn shops, camera shops you name to get up the money. We had it by about 2 p.m. Thursday . Mother and I went straight back over there. I ran off and left my mother to go get her. A young lady asked me if she could help me and I said I am here to get the little white toy poodle female that you have. She said I'm sorry but I don't believe we have any of them. I just about fell through the floor! Then I heard a familiar puppy whine. It was my baby. The young lady said I didn't know we had any. I started trying to open the cage as fast I could. She said are you going to buy her. I said yes get her out of there. That baby remembered me from the day before. While I was taking care of the business of buying her, my mother held her. My mother said that she never took her eyes off of me and never moved a muscle. We had a rather short drive home and she was as quiet as a mouse all the way just staring at me. When we started to turn into the driveway she got very excited. She knew she was home. When we put her down on the floor she immediately began to play and followed me everywhere. Her first night she woke me up several times kissing me. She has always been my dog. She loved my mother and she loves my aunt but she is never very far from me when I am at home.

Bio:
Crissie suffers from a condition known as BUS. BUS is short for belly-up syndrome. When she needs attention she will go belly-up which requires immediate treatment by kissing her on the tummy. Usually her left back leg will tremble during these outbreaks. I usually have to do this several times a day. A very major part of Crissie's life is her "baby". Her "baby" is a little dirty spotted rubber doggie that was part of a Christmas stocking a couple of years before she was born. She carries that little doggie around and cries sometimes. I keep a close eye on it because if it were ever to get lost I don't know what she would do. Crissie Faye loves to protect things from her sister Bonnie Bon-Bon. She has a quite a stash of chewies, etc under her VV's bed She recently moved and adores her VV and Bonnie Bon-Bon. I do not sleep very well if she is not pressed against my leg. She and Bonnie are the centers of my universe.

Hi Everyone,

Right now I'm not having the best time. Everyone so often I start carrying my little spotted rubber doggie around and whining. I hardly will get out of bed or leave my baby. VV is hoping I'm over this before Christmas!

Merry Christmas Dogsters!
Crissie Faye
