We heard from our vet first ting this morning and as we thought her kidney values are very elevated again... her BUN was back up to 203 , her creatines were back up to 4.5 and her phosphorus was at 15.. all very bad ! so the course of action is to increase the subq fluids to 4-5 times a week , and they added in a supplement that will help extract the phosphorous from her food because when the phosphorous is up it make them nauseous ... now the good news is that i made her a mixture of ground beef , rice and carrots .. and she ate !!!! the vet said for now she doesn't care what she eats as long as she eats ! it was a smorgasbord to try to figure out what she would eat .. so we are hopeful that she will eat this evening as well. I actually got a few kisses and the tail is half up .. Momma Fran from the kamp took her to get fluids again this morning as i had to work .. she will be back on Tuesday for more fluids.. and depending on how she is doing we may have to go to the emergency clinic on Monday for additional fluids.

If you don't see us here much it is because my dear sweet Buttercup has hit a big bump in the road. She isn't really eating , sleeping tons, and drinking tons of water. She is resting very comfortably . We saw the Doctor last night , they took more blood so we can see what her renal values are , gave her a shoot for nausea , and gave more fluids.. we will get the news today .. so if you can please say a prayer for my sweet babygirl i would really appreciated it.. just prayers please. ! I do believe she still has life in her .. i just have to get her back on track eating .. we will keep you posted when we can ..

Tonka went through his surgery with flying colors unfortunately the out come is very UPSETTING ! They removed 3 tumors , all were cancerous stage 3 sarcomas. He starts chemo next week . They give him about a year with treatment .. This dog is the most amazing creature ever, not to mention his mom who is so dedicated to giving him the best life possible..I saw him last evening and he was just a silly happy gorgeous blind dog that can't walk for unexplained reasons ... but in his cart watch out he is on a ROLL !

p.s. Uncle Update.. the chemo treatment for his merkell cell carcinoma did not work this last time . so we are probably looking at radiation ... on and on .. honest this cancer is everywhere not only effecting our human loved ones.. but effecting our furbabies !
Marielle update .. still going half days to school ..getting oral chemo at home , growing like a weed and doing very well. She attends her hospital clinic for IV chemo and in her spine once a month , and is getting blood and platelets on an out patient bases as needed.
