Arrival Story:
Well, my husband (then fiance) and I have always wanted a dog together...and before we got married we decided to go to the local PetsMart where they have adoptions every weekend. We saw Kona's brother because another lady was looking at Kona and we were going to take him home. Then the lady looking at Kona noticed she had a funny looking eye..(she doesn't have any pigment in her "third eyelid" so the lady thought something was wrong with her so she "didn't want her"...we asked if she wanted to trade because I wanted a little girl anyway. And that's how we got our little pain in the butt Kona. She was on death row with her mama and 5 other brothers and sisters at 7 weeks old....
