Arrival Story:
when Leela was 2 days old, I noticed that she had lost a lot of weight. I had to start bottle feeding her every couple hours. The vet said she might not make it! When she was about a week old, her eye got infected even though she hadn't even opened them yet! So, I had to pry her tiny eye open and put medication in it twice a day. When her eye finally opened on its own, it was completely foggy and blue. As Leela got older, the blue spot in her eye has shrunk, luckily for her she now has partial sight in that eye!
