A new sister for me!

I am so excited! Mommy told me and Barney that her and Daddy are getting us a sister, a beagle mix. We love beagles! Mommy says her name is Baby Girl (for now) and she's about the same age as me. We are going to have so much fun. Barney is lazy and he's not much fun, just when he wants to be. We're going to be really good sisters to Barney, because he's a cool dude and I love him so much.

I'm one lucky little girl!

My Mommy and Daddy came to pick me up when I was 6 weeks old on August 13, 2006, after their beagle Usdi left for Rainbow Bridge. I was born on July 4th, 9 days before Usdi passed away. I had eight brothers and sisters. I saw Mommy pick up one of my sisters and I knew then she wasn't going to pick me. I kept hanging around her feet and she let my sister down and she ran off to be with the rest of our siblings. I stayed right there with her and "finally" she picked me up and I gave her lots and lots of kisses and she told Daddy...this is my new baby. I was so happy! I cried after I left my family but Mommy, Daddy and my human brother played with me all the time until I forgot about the family I had to leave behind.
They tell me how much they loved Usdi and that she passed away suddenly. I could never take her place, but I have a bunch of love that I can give them. They had already adopted Barney, 7 yrs. old, from a kennel on July 25. Usdi was an only "furchild" so they wanted Barney to have someone to play with. So, along came little "me", also in a laundry basket! I'm glad that I have Barney to play with and we get along very well. I love my new family and they have spoiled me rotten!
