...since we lost Pebbs to the the bridge. Every day there is something that reminds us of her. Bammers has a lot of the same mannersims as her so we see it as both a blessing and a curse. Pebbies was always such a sweet sister-she gave us love no matter how mean either one of us was to her. Sadie was especially obnoxious no matter how many times Pebbs tried to love her, but we hope she knew that we both loved her so much. Days like today would make Pebbs so happy, she just loved the snow. When mommy thinks of her she can picture snowflakes landing deep in her fur and she laughs every time she thinks of Pebbs scooping up a pile of snow in her mouth and gulping it down. Right now mommy is having a really hard time. We are trying to make her feel better, and even Bammers seems to be trying with his usual antics, but her sadness is too deep right now. In the coming days, we will do our best to remember every little thing we loved about our sister, smile at all of her wonderful qualities, laugh at all of her silly quirks, and take pleasure in all of the things she loved most. We love you sweet angel
Your little sisters-Morgie and Sadie Lee
...it's been 7 days now and it seems like 7 minutes. Mommy is still crying every day and hasn't been sleeping. Daddy still cries too. We feel a little lost. At first we thought Pebbles was just at grandma and grandpas for a visit. Mommy and Daddy kept telling us she was with the angels and all our other pals that had passed now, but we still didn't understand. We're not sure we do even now. Today mommy was sadder than usual, and she had a bag and a box that smelled like doc Harts office. She said that we finally have our Pebbles back home with us. We have looked everywhere, but we can't seem to find her. Pebbies collar is still on mommy's seat on the couch, and her toys have been put away. We don't know what's going on. All we know is that our sissy is gone and our pawrents are super sad. We've been trying to give them extra love, and hopefully it's helping. If you're listening Pebbles, we miss you very very much big sis. We Love you,
Morgie and Sadie Lee
I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom. ~Author Unknown
Our gratitude and love for all of you is endless. It has been a rough time for our family this whole past year in general, and we never would have made it through weren't it not for the kindness of all of our pals here at Dogster. Life throws obstacles at us, but we have to think that they were put there for a reason. In our case, our family has grown even stronger, and we will never again forget how precious every minute we have with our loved ones is. Mommy heard from her doctor and her biposies came back WITHIN NORMAL LEVELS
W hile mommy has some other hurdles to face with her illnesses, the biggest ones have been cleared. Thanks to all of you for your continued prayers, love, and just overall kindness to our whole family. We owe all of you so many thanks, we hope you can accept our heartfelt appreciation. We love all of you.
Furever in your debts,
Dan, Amber, Pebbs, Morgie, and Sadie Lee
