Arrival Story:
We adopted Lola from the Oregon Humane Society. On our first visit to see her, 2 people had already placed holds on her so we decided to look at some other dogs. No one caught our eye as much as Lola so we decided to wait a week and come back. After two days we noticed that Lola was not showing up on the "recent adoptees" webpage. We decided to go back and see if she was really still available. To our delight, she was! We immediately filled out the adoption application and she was ours in a matter of hours. Lola contracted kennel cough just a few days after we brought her home which eventually developed into pneumonia. After a few weeks on meds, she made a full recovery.
