Rain

Yuck! It's been raining for weeks and I haven't gotten to train for agility in over 4 weeks. This is horrible. My mom takes me to a little park during the dry patches to run with my brother. She's tired of us running and wrestling in the house and on her bed. (Especially when she's in it!) I have learned some new tricks while being stuck indoors...play dead, roll over, high five. Also, to keep me busy and mentally stimulated, she has started hiding my toys and making me find them. Can you believe it?! She's also teaching me to 'dance' to Pop, Lock, and Drop It. Doesn't she know that song is for girls? OMG...please make the rain stop so I can get back to agility!!

My mom and I have been so busy training and competing in agility. I am doing AWESOME now, and I might even make it to Nationals next year if I keep listening and being focused during my runs. Sometimes I get the zoomies though. I'm soooo fast and I just can't help running ahead and doing something extra. I have gotten lots of Q's (qualifying runs) and 1st and 2nd places over the last few months. I LOVE agility, and I even have a huge fan club because I am so cute and excited when I run. My hair goes flying everywhere, my butt tucks under my back legs when I'm running super speedy, and all you can see is an extremely happy, black fur ball with a pink tongue zooming by. And, you can tell from my expression that I would be yelling "Woohoo" and "Wheeee" if I c ould speak English while I am running. I just wish we could compete every day, or even every weekend. My mom says she has to work and has other responsibilities, but I don't think any of that can be as important as agility. Do you?

Cuteness and Greatness all in One!

My mom finally uploaded my darling Easter picture onto this site. Aren't I the cutest bunny you've ever seen? I pretended to not like getting my picture taken, for my big brother's sake. However, I secretly LOVE IT!!! I'm just so darned cute. I love to jump in front of everyone and everything right before mom snaps the pic. After all, someone as cute as me SHOULD be center stage. Don't you agree? Of course you do!

I'm not just about looks though. I am also very smart and I learn things real quick. Today, my mom took me to herding class for the first time. (My big brother has been several times, but we won't discuss him here.) Anyway, I was sooooooooooooo excited to see those sheep. I couldn't help calling out to them and distracting everyone around me. The sheep responded (I'm sure it was b/c of my total cuteness), but my mom had to crate me in the car until it was my turn. Sigh.

Anyway, I am a natural herder. I got right into that pen and started chasing those sheep around and around and around. Everyone was so proud of me and kept telling me what a good dog I was. Wow, it was so fun. Mom doesn't let me do this with the cats at home, but these sheep are better than the cats at running the way I want them too anyway. I really liked it when the lady was helping train me, because she kept saying that I was so cute. I think the sheep thought I was cute too. They kept looking at me with their big flirty eyes and kept calling out to me to come get them. One was so enthralled with my cuteness, that she didn't watch where she was going and she ran into the fence. She had a pretty bad cut on her leg and it was bleeding a lot. Noboby, except my mom, seemed too worried about it though. After all, lots of ladies are going to fall for me. Who could resist someone as cute and great as I am?

Well, I'm a bit tuckered out from chasing those girls today. Sweet dreams everyone!

My mom and my brother, Mozart, just left the house. AND THEY DIDN'T TAKE ME!!! Oh no! Where are they going? I can see them out the front window...darn blinds.....grrrr...move over so I can see better...scratch, scratch, scratch. CHOMP! "HEY, DON'T FORGET ME!" They're getting into the car with my friend Terri and her dog Cheyenne. Let me run to the computer room so I can see them better. MOVE OUT OF THE WAY BLINDS! Scratch, chomp, scratch. Good, they broke in the middle and I can see out now. OH NO! They driving away. Maybe they went around back. Sheesh, I can't see a thing. Grrrrrr...take that curtains....puuuuuuuuuuulll...there, now they're out of the way. What's this? Darn blinds again. (Why did my mom put up new ones? Doesn't she know they just get in the way!) Chomp, scratch, Chomp. There, I can see better without those bottom slats in the way. Oh no, they're not in the backyard either. Whine. Laying down on my bed....sigh...I can't believe they left without cute little me. Poor me! Sigh... zzzzzzzzzzzzz....
