bounce bounce bounce
today I went to the park again, with dad and mum. I tried to give mum a scare earlier in the day when she took me to the front yard while she was doing gardening. I thought it'd be funny to see her reaction so I took off runninng and ran out of the house and onto our street and down our street and onto the footpath on the main road! I thought it was great, but the best bit was mummys reaction. Soon as she saw me run out (I wasn't leashed - silly mummy) she ran after me! She ran as fast as she could, screaming "STOP BARNEY!SIT!!" and I didn't! It was only when I got distracted by a dead bird on the nature strip that she managed to catch up. She didn't seem very happy, and couldnt breathe very well. Poor mummy. She doesnt know that she could've caught me if only she'd used all four legs like normal dogs do.
she still cuddled me later on though, and gave me a nice big juicy bone. speaking of bones....

*sigh*
As I lie here with my bones and my toys and my soft oh-so-cuddly bed, I can't help but think how lucky I am. My previous owner was nice, but I don't think she realised how big I would get, or how much I love to chew (I mean c'mon, whats a dog supposed to do eh?) but what did she think I was, an inside dog? My present owner adopted me when I was four months, and at the time, I was one sad puppy, let me tell you that. I walked around everywhere with my tail inbetween my legs, and had never seen grass or been outside, never met another puppy/dog, never eaten wet food (my old owner only gave me dry), never been for a walk...I had so many nevers. I'm so much happier now that I finally am an outside dog, and get to eat proper puppy food and get to play with all my friends who live near by.
Yesterday was the best day of my life so far, we spent THREE hours in the park, and I got so many belly rubs and hugs from my owner that I couldve sworn I was in Puppy Paradise. Then I remembered I'd been to Puppy Paradise the other day and there was a lot less grass there. I also got to play with my favourite friends; Honey (I think shes a retriever like me, except shes got a lab grandad), Molly (who is very nervous but likes me to lick her nose), Buster and some other mates of his
ahhhh
