Arrival Story:
I was given to my Mom's fiance. I am from a family that was in the middle of building a new home. I became stressed and was tearing up everything. A friend of my old owner's called and asked Him if he and Mom wanted me, so They took me in to their home. With a little TLC and some extra veggies in my diet, I have NEVER torn up anything but my own blankie. Mom and I are very close. I find myself attached to her hip most of the time!

Happy pre-Valentine's Day!! Just wanted to let everyone know that I am looking for my 2010 Valentine, and I hope it is Junior!
My Mom and I have been together for quite some time, and I really must say, she's learning a lot from me. When I first came to her forever home, she was not sure about me because of my breed. After I slipped between her feet in the bathroom and the kitchen, she had to take notice of me. One morning she sat down on my doggy bed and started to cry. I comforted her with kisses, and she squeezed me with all of her might. I knew when she looked into my puppy eyes that I had her forever. We became fast friends, and she took me to the parks to run and play with other dogs, and I got to ride in the front seat of her big Ford truck. Slobber power!
My Mom's birthday is on Valentine's Day, and I wanted to surprise her with this great reward. She is a real Valentine, and I know she would love this! She says I deserve to have lotsa Valentine's because I have earned it by being a good companion, a good listener, and the best protector to my 4 nieces and nephews. We are following Cesar's way every day, and we are constantly learning from each other.
Just before the holidays last year, I had to run off a coyote that was sniffing my family. I tried to scare it away, but then it attacked me. I got scared, so I picked it up and shook it until it stopped moving. My Mom's sister was scared and happy at the same time. Her 4 year old son and 3 year old nephew were playing outside and they could have been carried off. Mom says I did the right thing. I have had no adverse effects with the other animals I live with. Mom is proud of me.
I think it would be great to have Junior as my Valentine because he is young and outgoing, and so willing to follow in the footsteps of his wise friend Daddy (who is my IDOL). His Pack Daddy Cesar must be proud to have such a willing achiever! Here's hoping that you all at Dogster have a great Valentine's Day, and to Junior: you're the best, buddy! Hope love flows your way this "heart-day."
