I had a bad day

I need new hips!

My mom and dad are always picking dogs up and finding their homes. I think it is good to keep all the dogs safe but it seems all the dogs know which house to come to now. Even the neighborhood vet called us once when a patient lost a little yorkie pup. What a reputation my family has!

My human brother called mom and said there were two dogs in our front yard and one had a collar and tags. After putting us up so we could play with the new dogs mom called the county tag number and then the vet to try to find the parents of these two dogs. One was a HUGE male chocolate lab and the other was a nursing black and white pit bull. They were both really sweet.

After their people came and got them daddy let us out and we went flying out the patio door. We were all excited about the new smells in our yard. Allie and Jane Dog started running and they ran into me. My bad hip popped out of place and I went crashing to the ground. I was crying and crying. My leg was turned completely backward.

Daddy ran out and picked me up and took me to the bed where he massaged my hip and it popped back into place. Then he gave me some aspirin and medicine and put me in mommy's lap on the couch with a heating pad. I stayed there and whimpered some but mommy loved on me and gave me kisses. She even let me help her eat her fajitas! YUM. I am still limping but my mood hasn't changed any! I am still happy sappy Sir Beauregard! I hope none of you have hip problems. They hurt!
