Meet Mary Jane (aka Maryjaneannabananabelle) This surprisingly pretty girl is looking for a person or family to love. She is listed as a boxer mix on some of her medical papers, but we think she looks like she might be a hound/terrier mix � possibly whippet/APBT. She is trim at 65 pounds and has a very short, shiny dark brindle coat. Mary Jane was pulled from a rescue in Virgina just hours before she was to be euthanized. The staff at the shelter fell in love with her and sent out a desperate plea for a rescue to help save her. Now she�s ready for a real home of her very own. She is so loving. She would be happy just to be with you and to lean her head on your shoulder. She�s also a great teddy bear � a very cuddly and quiet sleeping buddy. Mary Jane gets along well with other dogs. She likes to play and can be a little dominant, so she probably shouldn�t live with a very submissive dog. She�s OK with cats and has been lovely with her foster family�s three year old son. She loves people, especially when she has had time to get to know them. She can be a little quiet around new people. She�s the kind of dog who will have a very strong bond with her person/people. She is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped and up to date on shots.
