Legacy Boxer Rescue saved me! Unfortunately, Carlee was ill, and she went in for surgery, only to find out she was filled with cancer, and we couldn't save her after all. We loved her while she was with us...

Bio:
Hi, I'm Carlee! My name is German for "free man" (even though I'm a girl). My foster mommy thought it was perfect because I got out of the "slammer" not a minute too soon! They tell me I am 7 years old, but foster mommy says you'd never know it. Even the first vet I saw after I was sprung from the big house guessed I was only 3! I love to go for walks, and try to chase things we see outside along the way, mostly kitties, but that darn leash thing keeps me from getting them every time. I also like to go out in the back yard and run around and play chase with foster mommy, though I don't care to chase that ball thing she throws for me too much. I don't play with my boxer foster brothers and sisters because they like to play rougher than I want to, but I get along just fine with my smaller foster siblings. I'm good with kids too, foster mommy has a 5-year-old who loves to pet me and give me hugs. After a long walk, I like to lay beside you or across your lap while you watch that thing they call TV. I get to sleep in the bed sometimes (I have to take turns with the other boxers). I am house broken and crate trained, and I go in without a fuss. I am very shy when I first meet you, but if you are nice to me I will warm up to you quickly. Won't you meet me and see that I will melt your heart?
