Arrival Story:
I had just adopted his sister a few months earlier, and she was just the best dog. So, I decided to seek the same breeder to have a boy. A litter just came available, and she had the cutest male runt. She held him for me until he was old enough to adopt. That was it. I was a goner with one look into those baby browns!!

Bio:
When the breeder had Dawson's litter her husband was in a terrible car accident. So, the breeder spent a majority of her time at the hospital. Dawson did not receive a lot of social interaction with human beings...just his dog brothers and sisters. So, when I adopted him, he only wanted to be with my girl dog that I adopted before him. Those two became inseparable, and he completely ignored me for a year...at least. Eventually he came around and now is my little sidekick. He is my testimony of what love can do!
