Arrival Story:
As I had 2 older Labs, Spot & Pepper, at the time, I didnt want a puppy when I met Dylan- but He chose me- I first met him at 3 weeks at his breeders- and from that day forth, he knew we would be together- true love! I cant imagine living without him now... he made Pepper & Spot's last years happy, having a big baby brother. He is my best bud, my heart hound. As a tiny puppy, he was dark brown... I still cant get over the change! Dylan doesnt have a normal IW coat- its much longer & softer than normal... but he is the best dog in the WORLD! and the cutest!

Bio:
Dylan was a wonderful breed ambassador. He was sweet and adorable and loved attention. He competed in obedience and Rally, and loved to go to dog shows. Dylan passed away rather suddenly 10/09/08. He Got sick on wednesday, was diagnosed with megaesophagus on saturday, and we let him go on thursday. I will always miss my booboo, my darling Dylan. Dylan was the very first dog to earn an AKC Rally Novice Leg, at 12:01 am, 1/1/05. He was one of the first IWs to earn his RN title! July 18, 2005, Dylan had spinal surgery to correct a stenosis. He is nearly 100% recovered now, and doing better than ever! He has a whole bunch of new tricks and a whole new attitude! He is happier & boucier nad loves to play and work now. THanks Dr. McDonnell! In May of 2006, Dylan was diagnosed with Glomerulonephritis. He was near death's door and not expected to live 4 days. We were all devastated. Miraculously, he recovered! His kidney values are now NORMAL! No protein loss. We now suspect he had a toxic reaction to sulfa drugs he was on for Methicillin resistant staph aureus. But now, at 6.5 (July of 2007) he is doing great.showing signs of age, but in perfect health, happy & loving being spoiled.
