Arrival Story:
I rescued him from a neglectful breeder who kept her puppies locked in a shed for at least the first four months of their lives. She thought it would make them good "guard dogs" if they never had any human contact. He's such a good 'guard dog' that he would practically pee on himself before he'll let a stranger touch him. We got him as a puppy and did everything we could to make up for lost socialization time, but he's still pretty chicken. Once he warms up to you though he's very affectionate.

Bio:
He is the biggest, dopiest, clumsiest dog in the world, but I love him to death. Not a day goes by that he doesn't step on my feet (with all 102 lbs of dog meat), walk into a wall, or roll off the bed. But he's also one of the most responsive dogs I know (even as a dog trainer) - once he learns something, all you have to do is ask him once, and it's done.
