Arrival Story:
Mom and Dad decided to wait until after they were married to get a dog. They knew we wanted to adopt from the shelter where Mom had adopted her childhood dog in 1992. They knew that they'd know me when they saw me, but they also had a few musings about what they might like in a dog - female, young, brindle with a few white patches, medium-sized. The first Thursday night following their honeymoon, Mom was browsing petfinder.com, and saw me - "Chelsea." I was at the shelter they wanted to adopt from, and as you can see - I am even brindle with a few white spots. Two weeks to the day that Mom and Dad got married, they brought me home and named me Anabelle.

Bio:
I guess I was originally adopted out to someone that returned me because his/her vet said that I was pure pit bull. The shelter had me as an Akita Inu/Australian Shepherd mix. I don't really know or care what my breed is. I'd be happy if I was a pit bull, my brother is a pit bull and he's my best friend. One weird lady at my dog park calls me a Dingo sometimes, but I don't really like that.
