Rosie will soon be 2 years old(july 21). Time sure does fly. My baby is getting so big. She still has her playful pug ways that she just can't seem to outgrow.
She steals everything that is not nailed down and runs with it until you catch her. She really loves polly pockets which is very dangerous for her. So, I had to throw all of my daughters polly pockets away! She loves to be a clown and do silly things for attention. A real drama queen!
Thankfully she stopped running at 100 miles an hour around my dining room table when I call her and now jumps on the couch when I tell her to come. She's learning to listen to mama but is still very rebelious. She is learning to relax a little more and less hyper.
She just brings us so much joy and is a big part of our lives. She is very spoiled but at least now she knows who the boss is now! I think???

Rosie had so much fun with the family while they visited with us this Thanksgiving. She was giving out so many kisses.
She had a plate of turkey with sweet potatoes. She thought it was yummy!!!
She said she can't wait till x-mas to get her presents. She has to stop stealing her sisters gel pens and stuffed toys if she wants a gift from Santa. She will try her best but you know how pugs are!!!

October 7th will be a year since we had adopted Rosie. Getting a dog was the last thing on my mind and the last thing I needed.
However, I thought my daughter could use a friend as she is an only child and often very lonely. I also thought it would be nice to have someone to take care of and she loves the attention!
Rosie has proven to be such a loyal and lovable dog and I am happy that I had choosen her. There are days when she requires more than I can give her. Especially when she wakes me up at 5:30 in the morning to play. But I realize that is my responsibility to care for her needs and discipline s well.
When all is said and done I know Rosie needs us as much as we need her and she fits this family just fine.
