Oct Fun!!

My 1st day @ the DOG PARK!

All I can say is WOW! I was a little nervous at first, I only knew of 2 other dog breeds (Anne the Pug and Rudy the Border Collie) . This place is amazing!! My leash was taken off, and I was not sure of what I supossed to do, so I just stayed next to the ""2 legger " that brought me. There was a giant of a dog called Nelly, she had the longest legs, and I had to stand on top of a table to see her face because it bothered my neck to look up that far from the ground. The "2 legger" said Nelly was a Great Dane. When I got down from the table Nelly didn't even know that I was standing under her, it was a good thing that she didn't sit down. I saw a German Shepard, and I have no ideal how it could breath out of a long nose like that .... poor fella!! Rudy was busy running around with some of his friends, so the "2 legger" walked in his direction we met some of his friends. I did my best to keep up with the busy little strides I take. They were all hanging out by the water cooler near the trees. Rudy took me to the cleanest water bucket since some wise guy ( I think it was a Black Lab) was using the bucket of water to swim in, so the water was really muddy. It looked like fun, but the bucket was too tall for me to get into it. Rudy gave me a tour of all the best trees and bushes. So many new smells and all kinds of sounds, much different from the backyard and neighborhood that I live in. Nelly (the big Great Dane) came over to hang out with Rudy and I , and I found out she is just a few months younger than ME!! I don't know what she is eating, but I know I want some of that! Nelly was so funny, she would run around with us, fall to the ground and let me catch up with her. I hope I get to come back real soon! I tried to keep my eyes open on the way home but I just can't do it, so tried zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

LuLu -CSI EXPERT

Last night our cat Licorice got out of the house. LuLu and Rudy were going crazy in the house looking for her. When we started looking outside LuLu was in "full-sniffing persuit", she was going to find our cat! LuLu was all over the trail,sniffing here snorting there in a full pace run! She was amazing to see, and this being her first big case for search and rescue she wasn't going to let us down! She was on top of the rock wall, jumped through the wooden hole to get behind the garage, searched under a bedliner(for a truck)came out to give me the "no cat here look". When my husband got home he went over the case and check our route to make sure no clues were missed. On the outside investacation LuLu gave my husband all the infor she had taken. Licorice finally came out of the woods,coming from the rock wall that LuLu had check earlier. LuLu and Rudy both gave Licorice a check up( which she was too tired to give them grief about it) . This case is CLOSED!

First gift from Aunt Terri~ Rudy and LuLu got a mat to wipe their paws on before they come in~LuLu made some adjustments to it
