Arrival Story:
Gracie came to my home on her own, she found us. We already had a dog and was not ready for another one, so I actually ran her off a couple of times (I know it sounds awful). She was wearing a collar and we lived so close to the road, we didn't want her get hit by a car. Gracie was very persistant. For a week she would come to my home and I would walk her back to the neighborhood behind my house. Then we saw her crossing the road one day and she was almost hit by a car. We put a note on her collar telling her owner about her near death experience. We walked her to the back of the house and she left again. The next day she came back without the collar and never left our porch. We brought her in the house because our other dog "Abby" loved her. Before I knew it she was another member of our family. A year and a half later, the puppy I didn't want has become my shadow. I take her everywhere I go. She doesn't even stay alone during the day. I wake her up every morning and take her to my mother's house so she can play with her buddies "Abby" and "Hunter" while I am at work. Gracie has become a big part of my life and I am very glad that she found me.

Bio:
Gracie doesn't like to be without mama unless she is at Grannie's house and can play with Abby and Hunter. Gracie lays by the door when left with her daddy until mama gets home. Gracie truly is my Shadow!
