Arrival Story:
Went to the Oregon Humane Society 'looking' for a particular dog we found on the internet. Ended up not conecting with that dog. My sister, who also had a black lab, insisted we take her out to the play area. She was so calm and loving....she would not even chase the ball. She just sat at my feet with her head on my lap. It was love. She had a reserve on her by two other people so I did not expect to get her. At dinner that night the OHS called and said neither of the people who had a hold on her wanted her. So as luck has it she was ours. She sat on my lap the whole way home.
