 Likes: To play with Chance

Pet-Peeves: When Chance ignores him

Favorite Toy: Any toy Chance has

Favorite Food: Human Food - Chicken Breast

Favorite Walk: Backyard

Arrival Story: My mom bought a house and when we went to go clean it, we found out that the previous owners had left their dog in the backyard and his pedigree papers on the mantle in the livingroom - FRAMED! We asked the neighbors and they said they had been feeding him because he looked hungry. We couldn't believe it! My mom already had Chance, but she couldn't bear to give Lobo to anyone - she adopted him immediately!

Bio: It was hard at first for Lobo to adjust and for Chance to accept him - even though they have a little "tiff" every now and then, they love eachother very much!

Forums Motto: Mom, why is Chance so mean to me?

Lobo went to the rainbow bridge yesterday.
We know he is in a better place.

Well, all the tests are coming out negative. We are not sure what is wrong with Lobo. The vet now thinks it could be psychogenic? For the next two weeks we need to inject him with some medicine and see his reaction. There are still two tests to be done to rule out a rare form of cushing's disease and some other strange thing. This is the 2nd vet we have gone to and no one seems to know what is wrong! Frustrating! In the meantime, Lobo has stopped drinking excessively (7 quarts per day) and is now drinking about 2-3 quarts (which is stil alot because he should only be drinking 80 ounces for his size). Please keep our baby in your prayers.

Hello everyone (Lucas' mom here),
Lobo has been sick now for about 3 weeks with constant urination (every hour) and excessive thirst (up to 1 gallon of water a day). The vet has done dozens of tests and has ruled out almost everything so he went in as an emergency patient to the hospital today for a "water depravation test" and this is what my sister has written me:
Anyway, the nice doctor this morning, who is also the director of the hospital, didn't charge us for the emergency visit! But the internal medicine doctor's bill is coming out to about $1132 so far. They ruled out alot of things, but they still don't know what it is, but it might be the kidneys, since he has excessive protein in his urine. They have to do chest and abdomen x-rays, an ultrasound, urine culture, and blood pressure check. Doesn't have to stay over night though, so daddy and I are going to pick him up at four.
Please keep Lobo in your thoughts!
