My mother almost hit her with the car...she was hungry and wandering the streets alone - very thin and scared. She had just given birth to a litter and seemed to be searching for the pups. My mom looked with her, but never found them - we think someone must have killed them. Mom took her home and the before and after is AMAZING.
Bio:
Now Chance has a wonderful home and is quite fat! Although she has to share her home and MOM with Lobo, she is quite a happy dog.
Chance passed away at 17 years old from an inoperable tumor. She was given only 6 months to live and survived 2 1/2 years after the diagnosis. She celebrated her last Christmas with us, brought in the new decade and then her health began to decline rapidly. We had to put her to sleep. She is now running with Lobo at the bridge.
