Ahem, PLAY WITH ME !

Ok, I know you must be wondering about the primary picture and why I am sitting in the car trunk. Allow me to explain.......

The other day, Dad was working on the car installing a radio system. I was outside with Danielle and kept whining and whimpering that Dad was in the car trunk working and not playing with me. I took the initiative myself to stop this behavior and hopped in the trunk where I planted myself so I was in his focus and he couldn't work around me. I stubbornly refused to move until Dad said " OK, I give up, Lets go for a walk" YESSSSSSSSSSSS !

I enjoy Positive Human Interaction so much that I learn, yearn and thrive with it! I love to be the center of attention for all occasions. It's a pitty (Get it ?) that some people are too ignoramus to give a Pittie a fair chance.

ARRESTED !

While we were out, Rocko somehow got out of the house on 3/31/2005 and went for a walk. He was quickly found by Officer Hawk of the Warren PD on Comins Pond Road.

Even though he didn't get into any trouble, He was nabbed on the spot under a vague vagrancy statute and booked at the station. Police indicated that he was very cooperative and went willingly - Hopping right into the cruiser !

Being a Police Officer''s dog (and a juvenile - He's only 4 !), he was given due consideration and released to Katie on personal recognizance. SEE PICTURE !

But the big bad PIT BULL didnt get into ANY TROUBLE ! Where he was found is on our usual walk route. Rocko loves his walks and he hadnt been for a good walk in a few days due to the weather so he decided to take the initative himself.

In fact, we went for a walk with a good friend of ours, Tom and our kids last night(3/31/2005) in Brimfield. Tom's beagle, Nike, is Rocko's good pal - they have been walking together for a long time. Anyhow, we walked about 4 miles and 2 neighborhood dogs, Puppy and Crystal, went for a walk with us. Rocko didnt know them but instantly made friends and they all had a great time. It was a riot ! Rocko also gets really visibly upset if Tom comes over here without Nike.

So much for the Pit bull myth :-). It is sad so many people take issue with him and his brethren.
