I love to visit Woofers (A doggy supply store in town) where I can sample toys, treats and play with other doggies. The owner loves me and plays with me everytime we go in. I also took training classes there and had a blast! I'm so smart!
Pet-Peeves:
I don't like when I THINK the kitties get more attention than I do. I get jealous!
Favorite Toy:
I have a lot of toys. I get new ones all of the time (because my Mommy and Daddy spoil me). My favorite toy is the newest one I have at that point in time. I'm so spoiled, but I'm cute, so I deserve to be spoiled!!
Favorite Food:
I eat Canidae dog food and I love it. I also like any of the human-grade treats I get at Woofers (as well I should, since my Mommy and Daddy don't pay $8 for treats of their own).
Favorite Walk:
I love all kinds of walks. I like to walk at the park or on the beach best! I am even learning the Spanish word for walk, "Camina". My ears perk up when my Mommy or Daddy says it. See how smart I am?
Best Tricks:
I have learned a lot of tricks. I can give you my paw, high five, sit, stay, roll over and many other silly things my Mommy and Daddy ask me to do. I am working on crawl right now, and my parents think it's so cute!
Arrival Story:
My Daddy and Mommy were at the mall one day and a no-kill shelter had a whole bunch of kitties and doggies (me included) there. Being the animal lover that my mommy is, she had to come over and see us all. She saw me and thought I was gorgeous! The shelter named me "Silvia", but I didn't like that name very much. My Mommy sat there for a while and talked to me and petted me. She went to get Daddy (who claimed he doesn't/didn't like dogs) and he came and petted me. Mommy asked if they could have me and Daddy said no, and they walked away, I was so sad. BUT Mommy couldn't leave me. She told Daddy that she really had to have me. So they came back and petted me some more and talked to my foster mommy. They decided that I was just too gorgeous to resist and they paid the $30 fee and took me home. They agreed that "Silvia" just didn't suit me, so they changed my name to Macy. I like this name much better. I had been found as a 3 month old puppy running the streets of a small town with a Doberman. A nice route salesman picked both (untagged, uncollared) of us up and put us in his truck and brought us to the No-kill shelter. By the way, Daddy LOOOOVES me now, and honestly, he'd be crazy not to love me.
Bio:
I now live in a nice house in Florence, SC. I have 3 feline brothers named Nicky, Stanley and Oscar. Mommy and Daddy just adopted a feline sister for me too. Her name is Daisy and I like to lick her. She doesn't mind. I like to dig holes and I was digging up my Mommy and Daddy's yard, so Daddy built me my very own yard with a doggy door that goes into the garage. I can dig in my own yard all I want too and Daddy doesn't get mad. I am very happy here and I am so glad Mommy and Daddy came to the mall that day.
