Class

Hey, I got to go to Agility Class with Scamp and Charley!!! Yea!! I got on the table, but that was it - the jumps were too high for me and who wants to do that dumb teeter-totter??? Anyway, it was fun and I got to meet their friends - everybody loved me, but then what's not to love???

Westminster

I was watching the Westminster Show last night and saw some awesome Bulldogs! My question is, why am I so small? Those guys were two and three times my size. Wouldn't it be hard for them to watch TV while sitting on someone's lap????

More thoughts

Yes, Charley's back. He's a real pain! It's not fair that he gets to have all the fun. I did get to go to Agility class with him last week and I met his two doggie friends! One is a Boston Terrier and the other is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (what a long name). I wanted to try the jumps, but they said they were too high for me, so I got up on the table instead. I also got treats from everybody!! That was the best part.

Things

Well, darn, I was right - Charley went on a big trip with his Mom. He said they went to Florida and he saw the water, but didn't go near it. What a chicken! He also said it was very, very hot. I wouldn't like that too much, but I sure would love the water. Maybe next time.

Stuff

Well, darn the bad luck again! Charley hasn't been here in days - I bet he got to go on a trip with his Mom in the car and I didn't get to go with them. She knows I love to travel and I'm really good on trips. Maybe next time. I've been lots of places including the Grand Canyon, Point Reyes, California, Omaha, Billings, Santa Fe and Salt Lake City. I want to go to Florida to see how the beach there compares to the one in Cannon Beach, Oregon. I might have to buy myself a Harley and see the rest of the U.S.

Shelties

Boy, those Shelties think they're hot stuff. They should learn how to relax and take it easy. All their running and jumping makes me tired. Why don't they ever sit still and watch TV? And what's this agility stuff - more running and jumping if you ask me. I know I'm a lot older than they are, but I do like my creature comforts!

Windows

Today we had new windows installed - unfortunately they are the same size as our old ones, so I still have to stand up to look out. Wouldn't you think someone would buy me a sofa or something that I could get on to look out???
Anyway, I helped the guys with the windows - I snorted and made funny faces at them and then I had to look over all their tools, but there was nothing for me to chew. Darn the bad luck!

Thoughts

They call me Doofus, but I'm really not - I'm actually quite smart! My plan is to act sort of dumb - like barking at the pantry door because I know that's where the treats are - that always gets them to come running, open the door and get me a treat - how smart is that??? My silly people entered my photo in a pet calendar contest - I know I should win and have my picture on the front cover, but who knows - at least I'll have my own page! I think more people should have Bulldogs - we're fun and smart and I personally love little kids!
