Christmas

Wow!!! Mom and Dad came home with a Christmas tree...They put all kinds of lights and ornaments on it..Well it looks pretty and then they hung stockings up for all of us....Well the problem started when I started taking the ornaments off the tree!! Im guessing now Mom doesnt like that!! LOL...So I was told to stay off the ornaments...Then she brought out some presents that didnt work out either...I like unwrapping gifts ( doesnt matter to me whose names on it!!) So gifts went back in closet...So all my pals stay away from the ornaments and the gifts till xmas...Have a Merry Christmas everyone!!!

wow...snow..I hate it!!!

Well, Once again its that time of year..Oh yeah we woke up and its our first snow ..Its still snowing and our deck is covered...My mom thinks its pretty..( She has boots..I have paws!!!) Well she did buy me boots but I hate them..I also hate cold weather..I ran out and ran in and then went and laid on the gas heat vent....I pray it doesnt get deep, theres nothing worse then trying to get your short legs out of deep snow....Well im thinking a nap sounds good...

I DONT THINK SO!!!!!!

Well, I thought something was funny on Wednesday night when my food bowl was put away..Buy okay it wasnt like I was starving so I went on to bed...But then I was woke up early on Thursday and asked if I wanted to go for a ride..(those tricky humans !!) Oh sure they didnt say to the Vets. and they didnt say they were dropping me off..So we pull in the Drs. and im like no way im not staying here..I did the Bassett drop and you cant pull me trick...So DAd just picked me up and took me in the back for them..( By the way all other dogs the back is not a good place to be taken)So they finally got me in a cage ( i tried to escape) My mom was upset cause i was crying...Well I finally got some of my cysts cut off..I now have 3 cuts one is really big, the others smaller..I was so happy to see Mom at 4 oclock..I could here her paying the bill and started to wimper...I slept most of the day away but now am okay..Back with my parents and where i want to be...So let this be a lesson just cause a ride is fun!! Make sure you know where the car is going!!!!! Love Pebbles

Rabbits!!!! Squirels and Rabbits OH MY!!!

Hi Everyone...

Does everyone love rabbits like me???? Oh yeah I cant get enough..I stand out on my porch and howl and bark and howl some more!! How was I supposed to know that Mommy doesnt want me to do that on a Sunday morning when everyone else is trying to sleep!! I just know i have to bark and bark..I have tried to catch one when im outside trying to potty...There a little faster then a Bassett!!!As soon as i come in they stop and stare at me...Im telling you it drives me crazy!!! I want to catch one oh so badly!!!

Im tired from all that barking and had to take a nap...Of course by now I have gotten everyone else up and there glaring at me while I sleep!!!!

Christmas....

Well....What exactly is christmas...Is a bassett supposed to know...There is now a tree in are living room( glad im not a male dog) and it has all kinds of stuff on it....My name has become NO PEBBLES...No dont bite the ornaments, no dont open the presents..(which ar no longer under tree) and its not nice to rub on the branches and get needles all over the place..I do love the smells in the house...Me and mom baked cookies yesterday ( well I begged, she baked) and boy do they smell good...IM starting to like this xmas thing u know gifts, goodies and lots of company...I love people....They bring more gifts and food...Well everyone have a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year...Especially all my puppy pals...Okay Im thinking im going back in the kitchen good smells coming from there again!!! Hi Everyone...

Im all settled in my new house...Lots of new smells and places to wonder...Wondering has gotten me stuck in a few places when the door closed behind me but, mom always seems to find me...We have this pool also not sure what to think about that..Sometimes it looks like fun and I want in but then sometimes I just run around the outside and bark at them swimming.. I hope everyone has had a good summer and will write you all later...Dog needs to eat you know!!!

Moving

Hi Everyone.. Well the day has finally came..We are moving this month..Im not sure about all this..But im told that the new place has lots of land for me to walk on...I think they forgot im a Bassett and really hate exercise!!! I live for food not hiking...I will let everyone know how I like the new place when we get there...

Not a good day

HI..i kinda dont feel good today...Im not sure why..My mommy and daddy though have been babying me cause I have a bad belly...I just want to sleep...Oh well I hope I feel better tommorow...My friend Lucy had a birthday party today..So i hope she had a great day!!!See ya Pebs

Thank Goodness

Well its finally pretty outside...Just warm enough to get out of the house and take a walk...The roads have been snowy and wet but alright now...I was very happy to get outside...Of course after that big walk I had to come in and take a nap!!! A girl cant get enough beauty sleep!!

Snow

Well its Snowed again... I really hate t he snow we got 7 inches and its hard for me to walk..Mom shoveled me out a spot to pee but, im hard headed and walked around and around...She loves when I do that...She keeps saying I wish we lived in Florida!!!! Oh well im going to watch them shovel the driveway while I lounge in the recliner see ya..
