 Quick Bio:
Likes: Food, food, and more food!

Pet-Peeves: Not being allowed to chew her favorite pair of slippers--mine!

Favorite Toy: Chewbie, her housemate.

Favorite Food: Alpo Beef, Liver and Vegetables.

Favorite Walk: The frontyard, the backyard, and all areas in between.

Best Tricks: Catch. Heel. Sit. Stay. Down. Up. Eat (Like she needs this last command. Hah!).

Arrival Story: Teriyaki belonged to a litter of seven unwanted pups. Her mother is a pedigreed beagle, and her father is part-Labrador, part-something else. I adopted Teriyaki when she was about 2.5 months old, and she couldn't be happier! She finally received her much needed vaccines, decent food, freedom from a crowded rusty cage, and a lot of love and attention. :-)

Bio: It is not Teri's fault that she was born a mutt. She deserves no less love and care than her perfectly pedigreed relatives.
Teri has two more siblings who still live with the original owner. These two share a cage about 3 x 3 feet in size. They are mangy and skinny, just about half of Teri's current size. They have never been let out of their confined space except for some baths. I can only hope that some kind folks who have enough space at home would be willing to adopt a dog or two.
Calling all breeders out there (especially here in the Philippines): If you are not prepared to breed selectively and responsibly, then please do not go into canine breeding. A dog is not a breeding machine...it is a creature meant to be loved and nurtured by humans.

Forums Motto: Teriyaki, the One-Dog Eating Machine.

Yesterday while surfing, I came across this hilariously cute doggie video. :)) :)) :))
I bowled over laughing, and I watched it over and over again. We all went crazy here! We dogs can be so funny sometimes.

Mom sure picked a great day to go online on Dogster and help me update my diary. She received an e-mail today, and it read:
"Dogster wanted you to know that Teriyaki is one of today's featured diaries and it
will be displayed all day on our Diary Central page..."
Whooppeeeeeee!!! I LURVE bein' a dawg. I LURVE bein' on Dogster. And I LURVE bein' a Dogsterholic. :)
Hugs and licks to all,
Teriyaki

An avid Dogster's worst nightmare is NOT being able to get on the computer to check out what's going on at this wonderful site.
Humans have a thing about their so-called duties and responsibilities on the job. If only Mom can quit her job AND still keep the cupboard well stocked with dog food and treats, I'd be perfectly, perfectly happy. Unfortunately, that's not how things go in the human world. Thank goodness for this Veterans Day weekend; Mom devoted her entire day to me and my housemate Chewbie, stopping only for her own meal breaks. Oh, and she did stop and look in the mirror a lot of times. She can be such a vanity case when she gets time off from work, which isn't often. I don't quite understand her worries about some new gray hairs and a new wrinkle she just noticed today. Humans. Sheesh!
Anyhoo, Mom went to the neighborhood meat shop, and the nice old butcher man there gave her some slices of liver and scrap meat "For your dogs." WOOF! WOOF! Thanks, Mr. Butcher Man! Life is good! I don't want to be anything else BUT a DOG. :)
