Quick Bio:

Birthday: January 14th 2005 Likes: Playin' outside. (unless it's really hot) Pet-Peeves: Things swinging towards him. (I once swung a bag of dog food onto my shoulder and he freaked out like "OMG IT'S GONNA HIT ME") Favorite Toy: His jingle bell ball. (the cats are a close second) Favorite Food: Yogurt. (he has ear problems and it helps a lot) Favorite Walk: Around our neighborhood, especially down the back road into the woods. Best Tricks: Sit & shake. (he's a little rough on the rest) Arrival Story: My best friend's dog, Hellon, is a chocolate show dog/bird dog, and her owner decieded to breed her one last time. The father is a huge yellow Lab named Rebel. There were five puppies, all boys and all black. Ebon was the first born and the runt and he was also the only pure black puppy. The others all had white spots on their chests or paws. Time went by and the first puppy found a home. Then the second, and the third. Finally there was only little Ebon left (who was at that time called Calivn as in Calvin Klein). He got older and older until he was five months old. He needed a home and not many people would be willing to take an older puppy. Then they remembered. I had wanted one of the other pups (the super shy, sweet one who adored affection) but my parents hadn't wanted to pay $500 for a puppy when we could go to a shelter and get one for a lot cheaper. With some prodding from my friend, Ebon's breeder offered little Calvin to me with only two requirements: we had to fix him and put in a fence. MY friend spent the night to help the little guy adjust and I renamed him Ebon, because I hadn't liked the name Calvin. Bio: Ebon's got some vicious teeth and as such most of his toys don't last very long. We have to buy him hard rubber ones to keep him entertained. He's very friendly, but rather nervous and prefers to move away from a group then get caught up in it. He's a sucker for affection, though. He's one of those dogs who will nudge your hand to get you to scratch him behind the ears. He also loves to play, but he's a little afraid of the frisbee because of all of the times I've accidentally beaned him with it.
